Feng Chia’s Brand Excellence: The College of Business Successfully Passes AACSB Accreditation for the Third Time

Feng Chia University applied for membership in the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in 2006 and earned its initial accreditation on February 3, 2014, becoming the ninth institution in Taiwan—and the first in Central Taiwan—to receive AACSB accreditation. According to AACSB regulations, all accredited schools must undergo a Continuous Improvement Review (CIR) every five years. On November 7, AACSB announced that Feng Chia University’s College of Business has successfully passed its third accreditation review.

Honorary Vice President Jyh‑Horng Chou Receives the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Chinese Automatic Control Society

Honorary Vice President Jyh‑Horng Chou of Feng Chia University, who is also a Chair Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Computer-Aided Engineering, specializes in automation and control, optimization technologies, artificial intelligence, quality engineering, information technology, and system integration. He has made exceptional contributions to academic research and industry–academia collaboration. Most recently, he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in Automatic Control Engineering from the Chinese Automatic Control Society (CACS). The award ceremony will be held on October 28.

Feng Chia Actively Advances Bilingual Education: Three Colleges Selected as Key Development Colleges

On September 15, the Ministry of Education announced the second‑phase (Academic Years 2023–2025) results of the Bilingual Education Program for College Students. Three colleges at Feng Chia University—the International School of Technology and Management (NT$4 million), the College of Business (NT$5 million), and the School of Architecture (NT$4 million)—were selected as Key Development Colleges. Among comprehensive private universities, Feng Chia ranks among those with the highest number of selected colleges. Together with an additional NT$2.6 million university‑level allocation, the total subsidy amounts to NT$15.6 million.

Feng Chia University Achieves Full Enrollment, Demonstrating Strong Public Trust Through Dedicated Educational Efforts

The University Entrance Committee for Admission (UECA) announced the enrollment results for the 2023 (Academic Year 112) distribution admissions today. Feng Chia University received a total of 1,098 distributed admission quotas, all of which were fully enrolled. This achievement follows the earlier success in the admission application round, where Feng Chia University set a nationwide record with 2,043 admitted students.
