辛辛那提大學3+1+1學制說明

The 3+1+1 Program will provide FCU students the opportunity to complete their Bachelor's degree from FCU at UC, and qualify to continue with one-year Master of Engineering degree at UC. The 3+1+1 program will be composed of 3 stages.

Stage 1: 3 years at FCU undergraduate program.
Stage 2: 1 year at UC completing undergraduate courses or senior project (Bachelor's degree from FCU).
Stage 3: 1 year in the UC graduate program (Master of Engineering degree from UC).
Students, who successfully complete Stage 1 at FCU, will be recommended for admission to Stage 2 at UC. Upon acceptance into the UC program and successful completion of Stage 2, students will be awarded a Bachelor's degree from FCU and, if qualified, admitted to a graduate program at UC.

UC's Master of Engineering degree requires a minimum of 30 credit hours of course work (including capstone); a thesis is not required for the degree. Program is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and experience in their fields of interest along with courses covering new developments in the respective disciplines. For the acceptance to the Master's program at UC, students must have completed the undergraduate degree with a cumulative GPA no less than 8.0 on a scale of 10 or 3.0 on the scale of 4.

Admission Standards :
1.Undergraduate Program
While students are enrolled during the first three years at FCU, advisors at FCU will screen individuals interested in the 3+1+1 program. Individuals who demonstrate appropriate academic potential (primarily appropriate grades in relevant coursework, English proficiency, and interest in the US education system) will be recommended for continuing in the 3+1+1 program. Before being admitted to the UC portion of this undergraduate program, all applicants will be required to demonstrate adequate English proficiency. Students can demonstrate proficiency in a number of ways: by taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Testing System (IELTS), or the Pearson Test of English (PTE). CEAS has established the following minimum requirements:

TOEFL-80 score on the IBT
IELTS-Overall band score of 6.0
PEARSON-score of 47

Students should have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and above on courses completed at FCU (3.0 on a scale of 4.)

2 Graduate Master of Engineering Program
Students must have a bachelor’s degree in a corresponding program from FCU with a senior year completed at UC with a min GPA of 3.0 on courses taken, and graduate with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or QPA of 75 or equivalent. No GRE or English proficiency test is required. While studying at both Universities, students will be required to comply with all the regulations and requirements of each institution and be subject to any authorized changes to those regulations such as fees adjustments, etc. Notwithstanding this provision, UC and FCU will recognize their continuing commitment to students within the program from their time of admission to the partner institution. Students participating in the Program are responsible for complying with all visa requirements and regulations of the hosting country; while the host Institution may assist with the acquisition of visas, it bears no responsibility for those who fail to maintain compliance with visa laws and regulations.
